  • Moin cadafi.

Why these 4 ASX shares are dropping lower today
    Zitat
The Regis Resources Limited (ASX: RRL) share price has plunged 12% lower to $4.40 after the gold miner released its fourth quarter report. Regis Resources produced 92,008 ounces of gold in the quarter, up 8% on the third quarter. While this means FY 2018 production will be 361,373 ounces and at the top end of its guidance range, investors appear concerned by its sudden rise in all-in sustaining costs.

    SBM: 326 $ EV/oz / RRL: 400 $ EV/oz

    SBM: 1,53 Reservenwertfaktor / RRL: 1,16 Reservenwertfaktor

    SBM: 3,88 g/t Goldgehalt / RRL: 1,08 g/t Goldgehalt

    SBM: 381.000 oz p.a. / RRL: 355.000 oz p.a.

    SBM: 768 $ AISC / RRL: 758 $ AISC

Strong cash flow from operations continued with $85.3 million for the quarter (Mar 18: $71.0m).

    oder

AISC guidance is marginally higher than FY2018 (but consistent with the June 2018 quarter) due to
the impact of current higher A$ diesel prices and higher stripping ratios associated with early stage
mining of Tooheys Well and other satellite deposits in FY2019.

Quarterly Report to 30 June 2018

"12-month price target AUD 4.85"

    Investment Case
Regis has rallied ~35% in 2019YTD mostly driven by the lift in the
A$ gold price of +11%. The share price is now trading at a ~30%
premium to our NPV of $4.85ps which is based on a US$1,300/
oz long-term gold price, a mine life beyond reserves at Duketon
out to 2030 and a 5% discount rate. We think the share price is
factoring in a ~US$1,550oz long-term gold price above current
spot of ~US$1,420/oz. The key risk to our Sell view is an ongoing
rally in the A$ gold price.
    Company Profile: Regis Resources

development focus is the Duketon project in WA and the
McPhillamys gold project in New South Wales.

Gold forward contracts As part of the risk management policy, the Group has entered into gold forward contracts to manage the gold price of a proportion of anticipated gold sales. The counterparty to the gold forward contracts is Macquarie Bank Limited (“MBL”). It is management’s intention to settle each contract through physical delivery of gold and as such, the gold forward sale contracts disclosed below do not meet the criteria of financial instruments for accounting purposes. This is referred to as the “normal purchase/sale” exemption. Accordingly, the contracts will be accounted for as sale contracts with revenue recognised once the gold has been delivered to MBL or its agent.

    Weiters schreiben Sie:

The total hedging position at the end of the year was 451,514 ounces with a weighted average forward price of $1,611 per ounce comprising of 25,000 ounces at spot trade with a delivery price of $1,830 per ounce and 426,514 ounces of forward contracts with an average delivery price of $1,598 per ounce (2018: 388,711 ounces of forward contracts with a weighted average forward price of $1,555 per ounce).
