    AbraSilver Discovers New Silver Mineralization Beyond JAC Zone, Intersecting 1,042 g/t Silver Over 12 Metres

    Toronto – August 09, 2023: AbraSilver Resource Corp. (TSX.V: ABRA; OTCQX: ABBRF) (“AbraSilver” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce the latest assay results from the Phase III diamond drilling program on the Company’s wholly-owned Diablillos property in Salta Province, Argentina (“Diablillos” or the “Project”). Diamond drill holes DDH 23-055, DDH 23-056 and DDH 23-064 were step out holes drilled to the northwest of the JAC zone, which coincides with a northeast-to-southwest magnetic anomaly. The new holes intersected a promising new silver zone, called the ‘JAC North zone’. Key takeaways include:

    • Hole DDH 23-064 intersected a high-grade interval of 12 metres at 1,042 g/t Ag in oxides starting at a down-hole depth of only 69 metres and including a 6 metre interval grading 1,880 g/t Ag.
    • The three reconnaissance holes were drilled to test one of several remaining untested targets indicated by magnetic anomalies located southwest of Oculto.

      • The newly discovered JAC North zone is located over 900 metres beyond the limit of the conceptual open pit that defines the current Mineral Resource estimate at Oculto and approximately 100 metres northwest of the high-grade JAC zone.


    • The new JAC North zone has the same geological characteristics as the JAC zone, namely that silver mineralisation is concentrated in a highly fractured zone with pervasive alunite alteration and associated manganese oxides and follows a parallel structural trend.
    • The initial drill intercepts of this newly identified zone are very encouraging, and follow-up work is planned as part of the next exploration drill campaign.

    Key Highlights:
    · A 36% increase in total contained silver in M&I Mineral Resources to 148 Moz Ag (from 109 Moz Ag), primarily due to the recently discovered JAC deposit.
    · Significant contained gold resource totaling 1.36 Moz Au in M&I, representing a 5% increase in contained Au.
    · A 32% increase in average silver grades in M&I Mineral Resources to 87 g/t Ag (from 66 g/t Ag)
    · Maiden M&I MRE for the JAC deposit of 5.3 million tonnes at 202 g/t Ag and 0.13 g/t Au, containing 34 Moz silver and 22 koz gold.

    es gab schon mehrfach wundervoll riesige Silbervorkommen...ich erinnere mich an ein kanadisches und ein südamerikanisches mit mehreren hundert Mill. OZ-Vorkommen und Grades von glaube 55-

    75 g/t....(die Namen habe ich inzwischen vergessen...ist wohl auch mind. 10 Jahre her).

    Edel Man kennt vllt. noch die Firmennamen..., jedenfalls ist nie etwas aus ihnen geworden...

    Irgendwer sagte mal, daß es mindestens 200...250 g/t Silber-Vorkommen sein müssen,um wirklich

    die Chance der Wirtschaftlichkeit zu haben !

    Man sollte dabei auch sehen, hohe Silberkurse gab es bisher nur immer für wenige Monate...,das ist keine gute Voraussetzung, um dauerhaft fette Gewinne einzufahren...

    Discovery Silver hat nen riesiges Vorkommen mit niedrigen Grades in Mexiko, die auf deine Beschreibung passen und bei denen es seit vielen Jahren gefühlt nicht voran geht.
    Bei diesem Projekt hier sei erwähnt, dass bei einem vernünftigen Silberpreis die Früchte ziemlich niedrig hängen und somit AbraSilver ein klassischer Übernahmekandidat sein wird/könnte. Da sind dann die Übernahmekriterien ne gute PEA, ordentliche Grades und lnfrasturktur.
    All das hat AbraSilver im Salta Distrikt in Argentinien. Dazu jetzt Milei am Ruder und hoffentlich Reformen weg vom Sozialismus wird sie noch mehr in den Fokus rücken.

    Hier mal ein knapp 20 minütiges Gespräch mit den Executives von AbraSilver.


    PFS in Q1/24, ein 4. Bohrprogramm (Größe noch nicht entschieden), Q1/25 FS + Permitting fertig.
    Alles in allem wäre AbraSilver in ca. 1,5 Jahren soweit, um einen Produktionsentscheidung zu treffen.


    Wenn das kein guter Fahrplan auch im Bezug auf eine mögliche Übernahme durch einen Großen ist?!

    Zum Thema Wasser äußern sie sich nicht. Das Problem ist mir aber bei meinem Research noch nicht über den Weg gelaufen. Salta ist bekanntlich eine Region mit vielen Minen...keine Ahnung, ob es da wassertechnisch Probleme gibt. :/

    Aber Fortuna Silver hat es mit der Lindero Mine in Argentinien auch geschafft (Bild 2).

    Bei ihnen war bei der Entwicklung das Wasser ein Thema. Ich weiss gar nicht, ob sie in geographischer Nähe liegen...
