    ex website
    * Will produce ‘green gold’ aswhen compared to conventional processes.
    * Utilizes less water;
    * Reduces power consumption and pollution; and,
    * Eliminates the need for a tailings dam
    For Metates, the shift away from an autoclave process towards aheap leach operation means an order of magnitude reduction in futureCO2emissions and water consumption
    - 75% Co2 AU oz produced
    - water consumption – 90%

    b]Eigene Anmerkung:[/b]
    Massives Potential zur Senkung von CAPEX und CASH COSTS. Nochwichtiger ist jedoch der kritische Faktor Wasserversorgung welches dieserMonster-Projekt benötigt. Ohne diese Optimierungen wird ein Permitting (EIA;SIA) SEHR SCHWIERIG.
    Empfehle alle die hier investieren wollen die PEA2016 (ex sedarPunkt 1.10) genau durchzulesen

    Keypoints:
    * Water Rights
    * Creating Water Reservoirs, Pipelines
    * Hohe Steuern auf Wasser (-> signifikanter Cash Cost Anteil)
    * SRWS (aufbereitetes Meerwasser) hätte viele Vorteile bezüglichVerfügbarkeit und Wasserrechte.

    Eigene Anmerkung:
    Wenn man eine LOM von 38!! Jahren in Betracht zieht ist ein IRRvon 20-25% aufgrund der langen Abzinsung schon nicht so schlecht. Die MonsterCapex aufgrund des großteils feuerfesten Erzes und schwierigenWasseraufbereitung etc. schreckt natürlich sehr ab. Ein Stageansatz lässt sichwahrscheinlich ab einem konstanten Goldpreis um die 2200 finanzieren.Jedenfalls ist das Projekt ULTRA LARGE SCALE mit riesen Potential.

    Dieser Zeitplan ist SEHR ambitioniert. Hier muss aber alles gutgehen. Ohne Alderley Prozess-Optimierung sehe ich eher schwarz für dasPermitting. Ich denke Sie werden nur einreichen wenn Sie sich 100% sicher sinddas EIA und SIA genehmigt werden. Andernfalls wäre Chesa wahrscheinlich weiterein sleeping DOG. In diesem Fall wird wohl eher Plan B greifen und man wird dasProjekt bei steigenden Goldpreisen verkaufen.

    Eigene Anmerkung:
    Erwarte stark steigende EM Preise in den nächsten 12 Monaten.Ziel 2.300 usd POG. Eine stark anziehende Inflation halte ich in den nächstenJahren für realistisch. Das Pferd beginnt schon zu gallopieren.

    Mein Fazit:

    Chesa ist ein günstig bewerteter sleeping GIANT oder DOG. Hierist aktuell aber massiv Phantasie aufgrund eines double Joker – EM Preise +Alderley Prozessoptimierung. Über 20m oz AuEq RESERVES,low grade aber fast 1:1 Strip Off mit vernünftigen Cash Costs aber – noch –riesengroßer CAPEX. Für mich ist jetzt der Trigger mit Alderley und der starkanziehende Inflation gekommen. Vom Newsflow ist in den nächsten 12-24m kaum waszu erwarten – es wird an der Prozessoptimierung gearbeitet. Das Personal isthochkarätig mit starken commitment. 4 Aktionäre besitzen fast 50% vomUnternehmen. Sprott hat bei den letzten 2 Kapitalerhöhungen den Großteil derShares gezeichnet. Mit einer günstigen Übernahme (4 Stakeholder besitzen fast50% der Anteile) ist nicht zu rechnen. Sprott und Co geben sich sicher nichtmit einem Double zufrieden. Wenn beide Joker nicht greifen hat man mit den CEOein Mann mit sehr guten Kontakten für M&A.
    Corporate Governance ist transparent. Aktienstrukur mit keinenWarrants und kaum Optionen sehr gut. Die Cashdecke mit über 30m ist sehr gut.Gehen beide Joker nicht auf ist es hier eine sehr lange Hängepartie. DerAlderley Joker ist dem EM Preis Joker vorzuziehen. Ohne die Prozessoptimierungwird eine Genehmigung nur sehr schwer möglich sein. Diese Entscheidung fälltaber erst in ferner Zukunft. Aufgrund des feuerfesten Erzes besteht einerhebliches Restrisiko bei der neuen Bewertung im Rahmen einer FS. Die MC istgering, das Potential sehr hoch. Für das schnelle Geld ist Chesa sicher nichtgeeignet, jedoch schlummert hier unglaubliches TIER1 Potential wenn beide Jokeraufgehen. Mit den Mix von AU/AG/ZN ist man perfekt für ein Inflationsszenariogerüstet. In Summe ist für mich das Risiko Chancen Potential bei aktuellerBewertung sehr gut.

    Opportunities:
    +++++ Alderley könnte das Projekt zu einem TIER1 führen
    ++++ sehr großer Hebel auf EM Preise (low grade, ultra largeopen pit)
    ++++ günstige Bewertung
    RISK:
    +++++ riskante Genehmigungssituation aufgrund von AlderleyFehlschlag
    +++ POG Preis fällt langfristig unter 1500
    +++ Flow Sheet Probleme (feuerfestes Erz) und somit geringereRecovery
    +++ Landrisiko

    Mexico’s rich mining industry dates back more than 500 years and continues today, making it a best prospect industry sector for U.S. companies.

    https://www.privacyshield.gov/…exico-Mining-and-Minerals

    Mexico's mining industry is an important revenue generator, contributing 8.3 percent to the industrial GDP and 2.5 percent to the national GDP. It is also a major employment generator, supporting over 379,000 direct jobs and almost 2 million indirect jobs in 2018.

    The Front says: “the exploitation of gold and silver for 10 more years would generate irreversible contamination in territories of the Central Valleys of Oaxaca” and has called on SEMARNAT deny a new environmental permit for the mine.

    https://mobile.reuters.com/article/amp/idUSKBN2AM2M8

    (Reuters) - Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador on Monday urged a Canadian mining company in the country to pay outstanding taxes, saying it was hiding behind the threat of international litigation to shirk its obligations.

    https://mobile.reuters.com/article/amp/idUSKBN2B92SE
    Americas Gold and Silver needed to honor the result or it would be failing to uphold Mexico's labor laws, Lopez Obrador said.

    "This shouldn't be understood as a threat or even a warning," said the president, who has vowed to strengthen the rights of workers in Mexico. "But if they don't respect the law, the government can revoke the concession."

    Meine Fazit:
    Das Klima ist, seit dem ‚Rücktritt, von Economy Secretariat’s Undersecretary of Mining Francisco Quiroga Fernández im letzten Jahr, rauer geworden. Bleibe bei meiner Einschätzung. Mexiko braucht die Steuereinnahmen und wird diesen mammutprojekt keine großen Steine in den Weg werfen. Entscheidend sind aber die Einheimischen starkeholder (Vgl ggg). Beim permitting (SIA, EIA) wird Aderley mit dem ‚green gold‘ Ansatz sein einen entscheidende Rolle einnehmen.

    Längerfristig viel Chance und viel Risiko, um sonst gibt es halt nichts.
    Kurzfristig kommt es halt auf die EM-Preise drauf an, solange die oben sind oder wieder raf gehen ist alles okay.
    Bin schon mehrere Jahre dabei, sollten die Metallpreise rauf gehen ist Chesapeake ein Hebel, wie auch nach unten.

    https://articles.cruxinvestor.…technology-gives-new-hope

    Matthew Gordon: You're talking about the Alderley oxidation technology that you own, right?

    Alan Pangbourne: We don't own it. We've licensed it.

    Matthew Gordon: Got it.

    Alan Pangbourne: I've been watching the technology for quite a long time and I approached them about 2.5-years ago, got a licence, and then put it into Alderley, which was our private company. We've been looking at assets for the last 2.5-years, trying to find the one that works for everybody. When you do these deals, you have to have 3 things. Technically, it has to work. Financially, for both parties, it has to work. And socially, it has to work, that they're going to allow you to come in and take over their company and do what you need to do to make it all come together. Chesapeake was the one that we found that ticked all the boxes. We looked at many. Others ticked 2 out of 3, or 1 out of 3, or 0 out of 3, but Chesapeake ticked all 3 boxes. Most of the previous team is still there and I’m working with them and we'll work out how we're going to put all this together as we move forward. I've only been in the seat for 3-weeks and you're the first major interview I've done.

    Matthew Gordon: Let's talk about the technology. You licensed this out and decided to work with this technology, how long ago?

    Alan Pangbourne: I've been watching it for a long time, probably 7-years+, and then 2.5-years ago I put together a company, brought the license into it. With that license, I get access to all of that R&D that was done over the last 7 or so years, and also, more importantly than the patent pending and what works, I actually get to see all of the other things that they tried that didn't work. That's really important. People often miss that piece. You've got a recipe but that doesn't make you a chef. It's all those things that don't work or don't make it come out quite right. That gives you the operating window that you've got to operate in. And why. The important thing as well with these things is why. Why does it work? Not just, it does. You've got to understand the fundamental physics and chemistry behind it. Once you do that, you go, aha, got it.

Mit extrem viel Skin in the Game.

    Gordon: You've got someone who owns this oxidation technology. They've licensed it to you, and to how many other people? Where is it being used successfully?

    Alan Pangbourne: The technology is being developed by the licensor at one of his sites at the moment. They're in front of us. They are way further down the track. They've already done all the test work; they've already done the variability columns on their ore body. They're built pilot plant pads, small ones, and then larger ones, and they're ramping up now. They're in front of us. We're a fast follower, not the bleeding edge. That's 1 advantage that it has, being in the situation we are in. That's the only other place it's being used at the moment, where it was developed. As far as we know, there are no others out there. They're not restricted on what they can do with the license, just the same as I'm not restricted on where I can go and use it.

    And who knows: Chesa könnte zusätzlich ein Technology Unternehmen werden.
    Ehrgeizige Ziele.

    Gordon: You've got a license to use this technology and adapt it any way you see fit, or are they in charge? Who's in charge when you're applying it to something like Chesapeake? Who makes the decisions?

    Alan Pangbourne: We do. The only tie back to the license is a 1% Royalty Stream on production using their technology. If for argument's sake, I came across another asset where there's a different way to do it, and as you said I enjoy solving problems, we can go after that as Chesapeake and do what we want with it. If we want to use the license and that technology, we owe the owner a 1% Royalty Stream once we're in production. Any improvements are mutually shared. That's the only thing. There are no limits on where we can use it. It's unrestricted. As long as we comply with the terms, it's uncancellable. Off we go.

    Peter
